A&W Canada will celebrate the 11th annual Burgers to Beat MS Campaign on Thursday, in hopes of raisin awareness and funds for those living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

For every Teen Burger sold across Canada on August 22, A&W Canada will donate $2 to the MS Society of Canada. Those who participate in the day are encouraged to share their experience online using the hashtag #BurgersToBeatMS and tagging @AWCanada and @MSSocietyCanada.

To date, Burgers to Beat MS has raised more than $13 million through the campaign. This year, A&W is aiming to raise more than $2 million.

Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the world. MS is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system comprising the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerve.
