The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) is looking for resident input to generate a pledge that visitors will read before visiting the region.

TOTA has posted a survey with the hopes of generating input that will best reflect the values of all residents. With such a vast area covering the Thompson Okanagan, TOTA is looking for responses from every corner of the region.

According to TOTA, individual opinion is important as all will directly affect what is said on the pledge. Those interested in participating can go online until 11:59 p.m. on August 20 to submit their opinions.

“It will speak of respectful living and ensuring that there is a Thompson Okanagan that will last long after we are gone,” said TOTA in a statement.

Once the survey process is completed, TOTA will compile all responses, questions and concerns and integrate the data into the final pledge. The pledge will live online and be a call-to-action for all visitors and residents alike to commit to the pledge.
