New CFO for Cannabis Company

Kelowna cannabis company GTEC Holdings has announced it has a new Chief Financial Officer, and it’s a familiar face.

For the past 18 months, Kendra Blackford has worked with GTEC in a financial consulting capacity, and according to the company, she has helped play a vital role in the development and implementation of accounting and financial reporting practices.

Blackford replaces former CFO, Jeremy Wright, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities according to GTEC. Blackford is a corporate finance executive with over 10 years experience in accounting and financial management.

GTEC is a specialized cannabis company dedicated to cultivating ultra-premium quality cannabis in purpose-built indoor facilities. The company is currently licensed by Health Canada for Standard Cultivation at two facilities, Standard Processing, medical sales, and Analytical testing.
