Yogi’s coming to Kelowna

The Okanagan Yoga Festival has announced it will be returning to the region for its third year, and this time it will be held in downtown Kelowna.

For the past two years, the festival has be held in Osoyoos at the Spirit Ridge Resort, but for 2019 the three day event will take place at the Delta Hotel by Marriott .

From October 4-6, 2019, yogi’s will come together to discover all things yoga, meditation, and well-being. According to organizers, the three day festival will include yoga classes, hiking, meditation, cooking classes, workshops, live music, markets, and much more.

The Okanagan Yoga Festival is billed as community-driven with the aim to highlight wellness resources within the Okanagan region. While bringing people together to celebrate local culture, environment, and artisans.

“A typical day might entail an early morning yoga workshop followed by a stand up paddle on the lake. You might meet a friend for lunch and then attend a pool site chat with coffee in hand,” according to organizers. “After that, shuttle up Knox Mountain for a mountain or vineyard meditation, attend a wine tasting and/or reflect and debrief the day over dinner, live concert to follow.”
