Castanet’s own Wayne Moore is once again the game-day voice of the BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors.
“It goes without saying I am happy Mr. Moore accepted my offer for him to return,” Warriors owner Kim Dobranski said. “Wayne is experienced, knowledgeable and professional, and I look forward to hearing his familiar voice echo throughout the building.”
Moore was the Warriors’ first public address announcer when the team arrived in West Kelowna in 2006. He has called more than 400 games in Warriors’ history but wasn’t in the role last season.
Moore has worked for Castanet since 2003.
West Kelowna’s pre-season begins on Aug. 21 when it hosts the Penticton Vees at Royal Lepage Place.
