A Kelowna company is helping out a local youth mental health centre after a fire broke out at its facility earlier this month.

Foundry Kelowna caught on fire July 9 when a stove element was left on and ignited a toaster. Fire crews were able to quickly distinguish the fire.

Kelowna’s iGuardFire, which sells stoves that have automatic shut-off technology, is donating one of its products to Foundry Kelowna manager Ben Macauley later this month.
