The valley’s young professionals are getting together for an “office crawl” after work on Friday.

The Okanagan Young Professionals Collective is sponsoring the crawl, and anyone who purchases a ticket will visit Valley First, Grant Thornton LLP and Pushor Mitchell LLP to mingle, enjoy beverages and snacks, win prizes and get a behind-the-scenes look at the downtown Kelowna offices.

“We’ve taken the concepts of a pub crawl and a traditional networking event, and put a twist on it to appeal to young professionals,” OYP Collective community cultivator Tory Braun said in a press release. “If you are new to town, or looking to expand your social or professional network, coming out to this event is a fantastic way to connect with others in a fun and non-intimidating environment.”

The event will take place from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday. There are only 25 tickets available at $20 each, and proceeds will be donated to Cops for Kids. More information can be found at the OYP Collective’s website.
