Today is the last day to get nominations in for the Greater Vernon Chamber Business Excellence Awards.

There are 11 categories in which business can be nominated, including employer of the year, new businesses of the year and innovator of the year. Nominations can be made on the chamber’s website.

The awards ceremony will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, at Vernon Lodge.

The people’s choice award voting will begin on Sept. 1, and the business of the year will be chosen by judges from all the nominated businesses.
