West Kelowna’s Anthony Bastiaanssen was voted the president-elect of the B.C. Real Estate Association at its annual general meeting in Vancouver earlier this week.

Bastiaanssen was president of the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board in 2016 and works for RE/MAX Kelowna-Westside on Louie Drive.

Fraser Valley Realtor Michael Trites was elected as the association’s 2019-20 president, while James Palanio of Royal LePage Penticton remains on the board of directors as the past president.

Meanwhile, one of the returning directors is Kamloops Realtor Katherine Rutherford.
