Csek Creative’s Nikki Csek is the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce’s new president.
The chamber last week completed its nomination and election processes for its 2019-20 board of directors, and Csek will be the one taking over from Carmen Sparg, who will now serve as past president.
The new directors, who were appointed to the board via acclamation, will join the returnees and officially form the new board on March 31. They will be sworn in at the chamber’s presidents dinner on Thursday, April 25, at the Coast Capri Hotel.
There are also three appointees on the board: Maxine Dehart, Kelowna city councillor; Trevor McTavish, Junior Chamber International; Bill Gillett, Okanagan School of Business dean.
The directors are: Andrew Brunton, Pushor Mitchell; Ron Cannan, Interior Savings; Derek Gratz, UBC Okanagan; Andrew Ingenhorst, Grant Thornton; Angela Nagy, GreenStep Solutions; Justin O’Connor, Sotheby’s International; Pamela Pearson, Sentes Group; Dan Price, Emil Anderson; Domenic Rampone, West Manufacturing; Jeffrey Robinson, Rush Ihas LLP; Robert Scott, 2M Performance; Shelagh Turner, Canadian Mental Health Association; Laura Vigar, Watson’s Hound Lounge; Ray Wynsouw, CorWest Builders.
