Summerland’s Okanagan Crush Pad has landed on a prestigious list.
Decanter magazine put OCP’s Haywire Free Form White 2016 in the top 10 of its “Most Exciting Wines of 2018” list. Decanter experts from around the world came up with the best 50 bottles under $100, and one described the Haywire as an “astonishing Canadian Sauvignon Blanc.”
The story will appear in the January 2019 edition of Decanter.
“We are so proud of our team, in particular the work of our chief winemaker Matt Dumayne, and growers Terry Waters and Cathy Banks,” OCP owner Christine Coletta said in a press release.
“Our mission is to have Okanagan wines stand proudly next to a global selection of respected brands. This recognition shows us we are well on our way to demonstrating that our region can compete on the world stage.”
Okanagan Crush Pad prides itself on the fact Free Form wines are made using organic grapes, native yeast, extended skin contact, are free of commercial additives, have little to no sulphites added and are unfiltered.
