A new company in Penticton is focused on giving everyone an opportunity to own a home.

Sitka Concept Inc., which is operating in the Okanagan Valley, restores and sells Airstream mobile homes and is also in the business of building tiny houses.

Sitka Concept is owned and operated by a Quebec couple, Martin Readman and Annie Jomphe, that previously lived for two years on a sailboat with their three kids. They restore old Airstreams for people to take on vacation or to live in full-time, and they are customized to fit the client’s needs.

The company also builds tiny houses, which can be used by someone looking for extra revenue or for those who simply want to own a house.

Readman and Jomphe, who have 15 years of experience in the construction industry, live in a restored Airstream themselves in Penticton.
