The Greater Westside Board of Trade is holding its third annual West K Women of Influence Holiday Gala next month.
The event is being held in support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank’s Tiny Bundles program, which specifically supports pregnant mothers and families with babies under the age of one.
The gala will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, from 6 to 11 p.m. at Shannon Lake Golf Club’s Courses Restaurant. It will feature a three-course dinner complete with wine, live music from Room to Dance, a live auction, door prizes and a silent auction.
In addition to regular monthly hampers, Tiny Bundle participants also receive weekly nutritional support, advice twice a month from a local nurse, milk and eggs for pregnant and/or nursing mothers, fresh fruits and vegetables, diapers, baby cereal, baby formula and baby food.
