West Kelowna’s Mission Hill Family Estate was recently featured as one of the world’s best-designed vineyards.

Architectural Digest produced a story about “The best 19 vineyard designs from around the world,” and Mission Hill was ranked No. 5. It was the only Canadian winery on the list and one of five in North America.

The magazine was particularly impressed with the board-formed concrete walls that surround the courtyard, the 85-foot-tall bell tower with bells by the foundry that cast the bells of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Sacre Coeur, and the Marc Chagall tapestry in the wine education centre.
