The Big White slopestyle course that hosted the world’s best riders last month will soon be open to the public.

Bike Big White and LOFT Bike Parks announced Thursday that Big White Slopestyle Centre, an elite training facility, will be opening on Saturday.

Big White says the opportunity to train on a true slopestyle course is “unique to western Canada.” Some of the features riders will be able to navigate are a lipped step down, straight dirt jump, on-off box with eight foot flat drop, mulch jump with cannon log option and quarterpipe-to-bank.

A regular pass or bike park ticket will give riders access to the centre, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The professional line will be reserved for special events and will remain closed to the public.
