Support for Trans Mountain

A coalition of business groups have joined forces to show their support for the Trans Mountain Pipeline project.

The group– which includes Greg D’Avignon, the president and CEO of the Business Council of British Columbia;
Val Litwin, the president and CEO of the BC Chamber of Commerce;
Laura Jones, the executive vice-president and chief strategic officer of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business; will hold a press conference Thursday in Vancouver regarding the impasse on the Trans Mountain Pipeline project.

The group is concerned Canada’s reputation as a safe and secure place to invest and do business is at serious risk and will unveil details of a campaign urging the public to demand immediate government action.

The press conference will be held at 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency on Burrard Street.
