Mission Group’s vice president of development has bought into the company and is now its latest shareholder.

Luke Turri has been with the development company since 2012, and in that time Mission Group says he’s “gradually established himself as an important leader to the organization.”

Turri was named the company’s vice president of development in January of 2017, and the born-and-raised Kelowna man has specialized in local urban development for nearly 10 years.

“I’ve always had a passion for city development and planning, so I consider it a real privilege to work in this industry, for a progressive, community-minded organization, all while living in the city I was born-and-raised,” says Turri. “I look forward to continuing to help drive positive growth in Kelowna as a Mission Group shareholder.”

Turri says he’s witnessed Kelowna’s expansion in recent years and believes it is one of the “best places in the world to live.”

“This is a very special city. Our industry has an important responsibility in being part of Kelowna’s future investment and growth–we can’t take this lightly,” he says.

Turri aims to stay involved in community development at all levels and currently serves as a board member to the Okanagan Chapter of the Urban Development Institute and Metro Community.
