Kelowna city council will soon consider a request to rezone a residential property on Pandosy Street, allowing a developer to build nine units of housing on it.

Right now, the property at 2565 Pandosy St. is zoned to support two dwellings (RU6), but Bear Land Development Services is asking council to change it to allow low-density multiple housing (RM3).

Bear Land is also asking for two small variances to the form and character of the development.

Should the project proceed, it will stand 10 metres (or three storeys) high, and house nine small, three-level residential units.

The application is currently being circulated among city staff. Council will have a chance to weigh in on it in the near future.

Based in Kelowna, Bear Land Development Services is an engineering consulting firm, providing services to land owners and the land development industry.
