What business or organization are you involved with? A&E Community Market and Consignment Centre

What is your role with that organization? Co-owner/financial officer/fashion and design specialist

What’s your favorite thing about living in the Okanagan? I really enjoy living in Vernon because of all the very friendly people I meet. The Okanagan has a great mix of people from all over who have so much to offer and share.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? The Dalai Lama, because he exemplifies the human qualities of
compassion, humility and grace and strives to be the best that humans can be.

What’s your go-to happy place? Natural surroundings, especially around water.

What are you most proud of? Leaving the corporate world as an employee to determine my own success in my own business.

What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1. To coach and mentor others to follow their dreams;
2. To establish and leave a lasting legacy;
3. To ride a camel in its native surroundings.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? Chocolate covered grasshopper.

Latest movie or book: Inside Job with Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster and Christopher Plummer

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? The ability to go dancing with a good partner.

If today were your last day, how would you spend it? Enjoying an adventure such as riding a camel in Egypt.
