What business or organization are you involved with? liv a lil chocolate

What is your role with that organization? All of them! My favourite is Quality Control.

What’s your favourite thing about living in the Okanagan? The number of outdoor activities, the climate, the fresh fruit and produce, and the beautiful scenery.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? Jocko Willink. He is an American podcaster, author, martial artist and retired Navy SEAL. He is a large inspiration for my entire family, including teaching my girls (through his novel, Way of the Warrior Kid) to be warriors.

What’s your go-to happy place? Rose Valley Regional Park hiking trails.

What are you most proud of? Teaching my daughters how to play piano. Music is such an important part of my life and I feel it’s very important to pass on the love of music to my girls. I have never been so proud as when I watch them play.

What are the top three things on your bucket list?
-Furthering my education;
-Learning a new instrument;
-Taking an extended vacation with my family.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? My daughters gave me a small bite of a booger flavoured jelly bean (I smelled the vomit one and it was AWFUL).

Latest movie or book? I am on the seventh and final book of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? A beautiful silver necklace made by Smallprint Okanagan’s Suzanne Henderson. It has two pendants on it, each with a fingerprint of my daughters. I will cherish it forever.

If today were your last day, how would you spend it? Around the campfire with my family.
