What’s your favorite thing about living in the Okanagan? All the fresh fruit and vegetables that are grown here.
If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? A descendant of Father Pandosy, to say thanks for starting the fruit industry.
What’s your go-to happy place? On a farm growing produce.
What are you most proud of? Being part of six generations living in Kelowna. Our family immigrated from northern Italy in 1893 and came straight to Kelowna.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
1. Visit the town where my great grandfather came from in Italy;
2. Drive the Alaska Highway and take a ride on the White Pass Railway;
3. Go accross Canada by train and stay at every CN historic hotel along the route.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? Calamari.
Latest movie or book: Fences.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? My Grandchildren
If today were your last day, how would you spend it? Visiting the small towns of Italy.
