Name: Lynda Brown-Ganzert.

What business or organization are you involved with? Curatio.

What is your role with that organization? Founder and CEO.

What’s your favourite thing about living in the Okanagan? There is an incredibly positive, ‘can do’ vibe and attitude in the Okanagan. Everyone has been very welcoming, helpful, generous and the whole city emanates a positive attitude.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? As the CEO of an early stage company, I rarely have lunch, but with that aside I would choose McLean Greaves. McLean was a Canadian gem and way ahead of his time, providing glimpses into the realm of digital possibilities that consistently shifted my own, and others, paradigms. To have one last lunch with him would be amazing.

What’s your go-to happy place? Being outside anywhere near a beach or mountain playing with my kids or exploring a new city by foot.

What are you most proud of? I’m hugely proud of our team at Curatio and the mission we’re on to ensure every patient in the world has the support they need in the palm of their hands. I’m proud of the incredible digital media industry in Canada and being able to contribute to our national roadmap in that area. My children make me proud every day and I’m inspired by the next generation of leaders our country is nurturing.

What are the top three things on your bucket list?
-Having millions of users benefitting from Curatio;
-Learning another language through immersion;
-Surfing the green room.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? As a vegetarian I have eaten a good deal of interesting lentil inspired dishes!

Latest movie or book? I usually have several books on the go. Some of my favourites this year: Oxygen, Being Mortal, Hooked.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? The gift of an incredible partner and the daily joy of creating a family together.

If today were your last day, how would you spend it? In gratitude for a live very well lived, surrounded by family and friends and madly making lists, plans and celebrations.
