Name: Will Walczak.

What business or organization are you involved with? Hiilite Web Design and Marketing Agency.

What is your role with that organization? CEO and director.

What’s your favourite thing about living in the Okanagan? My favourite thing about the Okanagan is the business community and how close-knit we are. The Okanagan is so supportive of the arts, the culture, the local businesses, farmers markets and the tech industry.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? If I could have lunch with anyone in the world I would like to pick the brain of Mark Carney, the Canadian economist who currently serves as governor of the Bank of England and chairman of the G20’s Financial Stability Board. He is forward thinking, super smart and I would like to learn much more from this brilliant man.

What’s your go-to happy place? My happy to go place is the beach at City Park, where I can relax and get the best of the Okanagan and meet great people.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of our family at Hiilite. I am proud of how much we have grown and how supportive we all are of each other.

What are the top three things on your bucket list?
-Motorcycle from Alaska to Argentina;
-Set foot on Antartica;
-Get elected into political office.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? The weirdest thing I have ever eaten is snake.

Latest movie or book: Elon Musk the book.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? The best gift I have received is my wife’s hand in marriage.

If today were your last day, how would you spend it? If today was my last day I would spend it with my wife Tina and family, dong something fun.
