The Best Western Premier in Miami.
Yet another hotel chain has plans to move into Vernon.
The Best Western Premier is proposing a six-storey, 114-room structure on Anderson Way, according to Kevin Poole, the City of Vernon’s economic development manager.
If it goes ahead, the hotel would sit beside a Four Points by Sheraton which has yet to be constructed.
“At this point, there are no Best Western Premiers in B.C. according to (the company’s) website,” Poole said. “This will likely be the first.”
He said Best Western was currently working on a development permit.
