The Peachland Chamber of Commerce has a new president.

Long-time Peachland resident Rocky Rocksborough-Smith will take over the top job at the organization, replacing the outgoing president Dave Collins.

Rocksborough-Smith has been involved in the ship supply field for more than 40 years. He was co-founder of the Triton Marine Group in Vancouver and has worked actively in industry associations since 1995.  

For the past six years, he has also sat as president of the Canadian Ship Supply and Services Association.

During his business career, Rocksborough-Smith also worked in the banking and broadcast fields.  Together with wife Tanya he operates the Peachland  bed and breakfast Pineacre On The Lake.
