Kelowna is looking a little better now since Megan Ledarney opened up The Extensionist Salon downtown.

This is her third location and her first in B.C.

In 2010, Megan created a hand technique called VOGUEPEARL that uses no glues, adhesives, etc and causes zero damage to natural hair. Plus it lasts for 4-7 months. Kind of makes me want to bring back my long hair.

The full-service salon downtown is focusing on colour, style, extensions, but is known for specializing in hair replacement.

You must check out of their salon because it must have come out of some beautiful fairy tale that is fit for any queen.

Kent Law celebrated their new Kelowna location on Thursday.

Lawyer David Brown invited Coun. Ryan Donn to speak about the optimism of Kelowna’s business community.

Last week Chantal Courture moved her Frock shop to Harvey and brought a fellow along with her.

As you might already know, Frock has been in business for a number of years, but now it is offering clothing for guys too.

Frock and Fellow is a curated consignment clothing store that has some amazing options. Make sure to visit their new location. You can follow them on Facebook.

Chocolatier Julian Hermann has opened Karat Chocolate next door to Canoe coffee on High Road off Gordon.

Julian attended the Culinary Institute of Canada and has worked all around the world. He has settled in Kelowna and is providing us with some impeccable chocolates that look too good to eat. I say that but it didn’t stop my family from eating his pop-rock chocolate rather quickly.

He will be show casing his terroir bar made with freeze-dried cabernet sauvignon, but watch out for the six new flavours in the works.

Congratulations to Bernie Ryan for selling out his third annual Balding event in Kelowna.

He has raised over $155,000 thus far.

Bands, BBQ, Beers and Balding is happening next Friday and you can only be put on the waitlist now.

There are three guys and one girl who will be shaving their heads that night and the proceeds will be split 50/50 for KGH and BCCH.

This event is 100 per cent donated,100 per cent volunteer and whatever they raise is will be donated.

Make sure to mark your calendar for next year.

The Okanagan Sun are raising some money for new uniforms this year. They are now selling 50 game day passes for $500.

Have Ron drop you off a pack of these so you can give away to your friends and family on their birthday, for Easter or any upcoming special day.

If you’re a business thank your clients with a couple tickets to the game. You know they are going to win so everyone will be happy.

Ron can be reached at 250-861-0507 or via their website.
