Eight local companies are predicted to experience significant growth, investment or acquisition by the 2017 Ready to Rocket Lists.
The lists were recently released by the business recognition program, and provide accurate predictions of private companies that will likely experience significant growth, venture capital investment or acquisition by a major player in the coming year.
This year, the lists cover 4 different technology sectors: Information and Communications Technology, Cleantech, Life Science, and Digital Health.
Ready to Rocket also released results from its 2016 predictions. The companies featured capitalized on the current technology trends and showed significant growth. Simba, Kairos Therapeutics, Bit Stew Systems Inc. and Golden Environmental Mat Services Inc. are four companies from the 2016 list that have since been acquired after being named in the Ready to Rocket lists.
