Calling Scotties volunteers

Organizers of the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts is putting out a call for volunteers.

The national women’s curling championships are scheduled to run Jan. 27 to Feb. 4 in Penticton.

Volunteers will have standing-room access to the venue whenever they are not on shift and will receive volunteer clothing and merchandise.

In return, volunteers need able to contribute a minimum of 30 hours of volunteer service, and $100 for a uniform.

Those interested need to be 19 years of age as of Jan. 27, 2018.
