Current Taxi is British Columbia’s first all-electric taxi fleet owned and operated in Kelowna with an aim to provide luxury car service using environmentally friendly vehicles, specifically Teslas.

Kelowna is now home to the world’s first digital temporary denture, Perfit Dental Solutions.
Steve and George Cowburn founded Perfit because they were tired of waiting for denture technology to come to them. Who would have thought they would find the technology they needed from the movie industry, though?
By taking a 3D scan of a patient’s mouth, designing a restoration, then milling the end product, they have revolutionized the dental industry by eliminating all need for manual labour. Work no longer takes days or weeks to complete; it can now be done as quickly as 90 minutes.
Marketing plus art equals Martketer.
I have to assume you’ve heard of Martketer because of the awards they have won and the businesses they work with in Kelowna.
If you aren’t familiar with Martketer know that Ariele Parker is giving life to good ideas, big dreams and new concepts. She has created a top marketing and design agency here in Kelowna that is focused on tech, non-profit, and social enterprise.

Make your way to The View Winery the next few Friday evenings for Fondue Fun. Enjoy fondue and wine pairings, no reservations necessary, for $10 per person.
Congratulations to the Kelowna Kasugai Sister City Association and the Kelowna Jaycees for selling out the first Sushi and Saki festival three months in advance. It is obviously that this is a much-wanted event in Kelowna. This event is an afternoon full of entertainment, paired with tastings of Kelowna’s best sushi and sake.
Another event that sold out rather quickly was Fashion Fever being hosted by Wilbur Turner, owner of Wine and Art. Fashion Fever presents a stunning selection of women’s and men’s styles from local designers in an intimate gallery setting.
I need to do a better job of getting you this information quicker, so I’m told the next big event that is expected to sell out quickly is Sip & Savour Okanagan. This an evening of paired tastings from some of the Okanagan’s top caterers, restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries that are coming together to support Kelowna’s food bank.
