The provincial government’s 2017/2018 budget has been met with mixed reactions across the province, but what does it mean for the Okanagan?

Next month, the Urban Development Institute will present the UDI Okanagan Luncheon, which will feature a crack panel put together to untangle the budget and look at what it means for the region.

That panel will include Minister of Agriculture Norm Letnick, Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations Steve Thomson and Corie Griffiths, the director of economic development at the Central Okanagan Economic Development Corporation.

Facilitated by the City of Kelowna’s Robert Fine, the panel will provide insight into the implications of the provincial budget for the Okanagan and the rest of the province.

It will also  touch  other topics related to the building of the provincial economy and jobs in the region.

Come prepared with questions, because the panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer session.

The event will take place at the Coast Capri Hotel March 17, at 12 p.m. for more information visit the UDI’s website.
