The Kelowna Lionesses, made up of 29 local ladies aging from their twenties to their nineties, have fund raised another $3,600.00 totalling $7,000.00 for the Easter Seal Camp in Winfield.

The Lioness fund raise money by doing bake sales, Christmas cookie platter sales, catering and selling goods at the trunk sale at the KLO campus of Okanagan college.

The Lioness are dedicated to providing funds to help those who may not be able to afford to go to camp.  The Lioness are proud to support the camp which is focused on children’s abilities not disabilities. Camp Winfield hosts about 200 kids with disabilities each summer. The camp’s scenic Okanagan Lake views, waterslide, and mini-golf course make it unique and a fantastic place to spend a summer.
