Remax of Western Canada is dishing out $16,000 worth of bursaries through its annual Quest for Excellence Program

The program aims to recognize “the pursuits in leadership and community contributions of Western Canadian students.”

High school students graduating in 2017 from Western Canadian high schools can write an essay speaking to how they have enriched their communities and other people.

“It’s truly amazing learning about our applicants .. each year,” says Remax spokesperson Marie Sheppy. “Their admirable attitudes and selfless actions allow them to impact their communities in a positive away.”

Sixteen winners will be selected from entries received on Remax’s website. Each winner will receive $1,000 and one winner will win a hot air balloon ride for two from the closest major city.

Deadline for applications is March 13, 2017.
