A trade show for women

The biggest fundraiser of the year for a South Okanagan nonprofit is set to take place this weekend at the Oliver Community Centre.
The Women of Oliver for Women, WOW, is holding the 24th annual Mainly for Women Trade Show, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
“It’s a well organized and thought out event, and we get a very good response from the public,” said president Diane Worth.
The long standing group aims to improve the lives of women and children in the community and beyond with a number of fundraising events each year.
There will be between 50 to 60 exhibitors in attendance, showcasing everything from jewelry to preserves, pottery, health products and more. Door prizes will be offered as well.
