A 100% organic Okanagan

Summerhill Pyramid Winery’s Stephen Cipes wants to transition the entire Okanagan Valley to 100 per cent organic by the year 2020.

Cipes said that B.C. is an ideal agricultural and residential region in the world to demonstrate organic living.

The winery has applied to be deemed Certified Naturally Grown.

Organic wine is the fastest growing segment in the wine industry worldwide, according to Summerhill.

Cipes and the B.C. Organic Visionary team will visit the Vancouver Airport from Feb. 13-18 to discuss Implementation of Organic 2020 declaration.
