Name:
 Kayla Caruana.

What business or organization are you involved with? Investors Group, GenNext Kelowna.

What is your role with that organization? I am an entrepreneur at Investors Group, helping clients with their most cherished financial goals. I have joined the United Way’s GenNext board of directors to help make a difference in the community and shape future generations by volunteering.

What’s your favourite thing about living in the Okanagan? I love that you can ski in the winter, hike in the spring, and go to the beach all summer and well into the fall. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why? That’s a hard one, but I would have to say Elon Musk. I would just like to get his take on some problems in the world. I feel like he would have some interesting things to talk about.

What’s your go-to happy place? Home in bed with a cup of tea and a my dog to snuggle.

What are you most proud of? The designations that I have. I spend a lot of my time on self development and I like to make sure that I have the knowledge to back up my findings, as well as my recommendations. I am proud to be the person that can give clients the answers that they have been looking for.

What are the top three things on your bucket list? I would like to visit Malta, where my husband’s family is from, learn another language, and see the northern lights.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? I would say the weirdest would be when I was a kid I ate some grass. That was weird.

Latest movie or book: How about both?My latest book was Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now, and latest movie was Patch Adams. I would recommend both.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? The gift of having a wonderful and supporting husband. I appreciate him and everything he does. I am thankful everyday that life gave me him.

If today were your last day, how would you spend it? Wow, that’s a loaded question. I would spend it with everyone in my life that I love. I would tell everyone how much I enjoyed their company and how much I appreciated them.
